What time should we arrive for the cruise?
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before departure time. This allows for time to board the vessel and to go over safety policies.
What do we need to bring?
We suggest you bring:
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, cover ups for sun (warmth in evening), suit and towels if swimming, beverages beyond water. Please wear light colored soft sole shoes and please do not wear bling on your clothing, as it can put holes in the vinyl seating! :)

Can we bring Alcohol?
Yes indeed! You are welcome to bring along your favorite non-red wine and other adult beverage. We request you please drink responsibly. Behavior putting vessel, passengers, or yourself in danger will result in removal from the vessel without a refund. Thank you for your understanding!
Does Ahh! Venture Cruise Provide food or Beverage?
Absolutely! Providing complimentary food and water is what makes us a unique and exclusive cruising business. We enjoy using many of Holland's family owned businesses for food, drink, and candy options. Upon request, we provide bake goods from local restaurant or bakery for morning cruises and fruit or veggie tray for afternoon/evening cruises. We supply complimentary cookies, licorice and always have Boxed Water! Feel free to text for special requests! 269-303-5703
Can we eat a meal while on the cruise?
Of course! We have options with three local restaurants on and near the shores of Lake Macatawa. DeBoer's Bakery and Restaurant will provide take out breakfast, lunch, and all bakery items. Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant allows take out from their lunch and dinner menu. Paisley Pig-Holland allows take out from their dinner menu. We are happy to work out arrangements for a sit down meal at all of these locations, but this will need to be discussed ahead of your cruising day.
Can we bring our own food on the boat?
Absolutely! There are so many options. You may pick up food from local restaurants, bring your own, get take-out from the boat, or we can supply snacks and drinks. We have refrigeration, coolers, grill, air fryer, blenders, but will need to know ahead of time what is needed and how much space is needed. If you choose to bring your own food, please refrain from food that could cause damage to the boat: Cheetos, Doritos, Red Dye Food and Drink.

Are children allowed as cruising guests?
Yes indeed! We love the kiddos, but they all count toward 6 total passengers. Children 6 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times. We have those available for ages 2-adult. Please bring along your own coast guard approved life jacket for an infant or let us know of your need and we can supply.
Can we swim in the Lake?
Weather permitting, you may swim in the lake at your own risk. Guests have also enjoyed getting off the boat on the shores of Lake Michigan and walking the beach or climbing the dunes. All of this is allowed as long as the waves and weather conditions permit and the Captain gives the big "thumbs up" of approval!
Do we need to sign a waiver?
Yes indeed! Our insurance company is quite fond of waivers! :) Every passenger will need to sign a waiver and parents will need to sign for their under age children. Waivers are included during the booking process and will be provided at time of arrival for those who do not bring a downloaded, signed copy from the booking site.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available, but carpooling is helpful if you are able to do that with family and friends.
What is your cancellation Policy?
Payments are fully refundable for customer cancellations up to five days before your cruise. Cancellations within the five days before your cruise may be rescheduled but are not refundable. If the captain should cancel the cruise for any reason, you will be offered a credit or a full refund.
What happens in Bad weather?
Well, that would truly be a bummer, but not to worry. Weather and marine apps are monitored very closely. In the event the cruise needs to be cancelled, as determined by Captain Cal, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
